Way better than raising 55M at an average price of 3.60. The company would’ve don’t traditional financing if they thought the price was going down from here. The fact that they set up the terms this way allows them to take advantage o share price increases over the next two years and indicates they think it’s goig up not down.

Itstruedoe, I mean no disrespect to your comments because as a longtime investor and one who has been invested in OGI for a long time, I don't think you should make light of anyone posting and being upset to a degree over the lastest news release..for you and I am many others, this is not so much a big deal because we beleive in the company and know eventually that this company is going to not only succeed..but prosper..but bear in mind..anyone who has invested in this stock, let's say in the last couple of months (and even doing their due dillegence)...and then to see on Nov 4 the company filed a prospectus with the option of raising 175 million by issuing shares over the next 25 months should they choose to do that...and then today..to now see they are solidifying the option to raise 55 million more should they choose to...well..al I can say is, that in a volatile sector such as this, that the more the thought of share dilution the more jittery investors become and to me it is totally understandable. Ogi has had a lot of cash to work with and hopefully has used it wisely ramping up for 2.0 and hopefully those investments will pay off handsomely..but again..in my opinion, investors concerns about share dilution are valid..and if I were a betting man, I would suggest, that the filing of the prospectus, plus the news announcement today clearly point to one thing..not if they will issue more shares and dilute the total outstanding..but when...time and patience are on my side..but clearly, it gives one pause for thought...you are far too well informed for me to argue with you or persuade you to agree with my way of thinking because at the end iof the day we are both believers and on the same page...we are witnessing throughout the sector right now how starved lp's are for cash, and it is not a pretty sight..........in for the long haul.....good luck.
And that would be the best case scenario scruff if they got a deal from a cpg or beverage company ..but undoubtedly share dilution is going to be inevitable..I think we can count on that. I have no objection to them doing this as long as the payoff down the road is worth it, and I have no doubt it will be..but anytime a company mentions share dilution you can be sure it makes investors nervous..hopefully the way they are going about this is this is smart and prudent, and that they never have to go to that step but, personally I see it as necessary..Putting projects on hold like the latest expansion should be saving them a fair chunk of change so I hope they don't need to go the dilution route unless absolutely necessary..I think the chocolate and powder are going to lead us to the promise land as far as brand exposure and sales...but...they are going to have to be big sellers to offset the debt..Again..in for the long haul, so personally I am not really bothered by what they do, but I do totally understand when investors become ambivilent and jittery..Institutional money for sure is what drives this stock and this sector...but there still is a place for investors, and they are all entitled to their opinion.
