If you market something as a high end craft brand, then scarcity is an expected part of its identify. I don't have an issue with running out of flower periodically if it preserves the brand and the supply for APP, assuming the same strains will be used for the beverages.
Since we are big on theories, one theory may be that they had a bunch of flower inventoried for APP and with the overall delay in the JV, why have it just sitting around? Sell it, and grow more for APP use when it is really needed. If this is true (pure speculation), this could give some indication as to overall delay length.
Also, if this is true, then it is a good tactical move, but creates continued concern about overall supply for both the flower market and APP. I can't see them just going out and buying someone else's flower for APP use of their first beverages. That doesn't sound like something Dr. Sen would do.
I'll be interested to hear from those on the board who can get some Caliber and give us a first hand report of overall quality and effect.
If Caliber is the source for th APP, which seems reasonable, I would have prefered that they NOT sell Caliber on the market, which would have preserved the inventory, and the mystique of the beverage, but hey, money in is good, so do what needs to be done.
You got me thinking now about something I have not really thought of before. So we know we can extract oil & water soluble products from the plant.... but what about the plant after this point. Does the plant still have CBD/THC properties since the plant was not destroyed?
