RE:RE:RE:RE:Why so impatient? Direct from the company....14 years? Here's some good advice....Mining stocks especially gold miners and especially junior gold miners are to be "rented" never "owned" They are so volatile, so cyclical and in general the worst kind of business in the world. They eat their seed corn every day...every ounce mined is one less in the mine. They are horrible businesses and should never be "invested" in or "owned" for long periods. That being said....nothing can make you more money faster. Get the right names that check all the boxes at the right time in a bull market for gold and you can make a fortune. That's where I believe we are now.
I look for the following....location, geology, management, clear path to production, grade, AISC, and IRR (internal rate of return) I favor existing mines with infrastructure and lots of exploration upside. Anaconda ticks all the boxes for me.
I own the following...GORO, LRTNF, PIRGF, ANXGF, MGDPF, BONXF, RBYCF and OBNNF...they tick most of the boxes if not all of them. I also own some really spec plays....PACXF and WTHVF
All are North American, have large land packages in gold bearing districts, most have existing mills and are either on a path towards production or have some special trait that makes them worth owning.
I intend to keep them for the next 2-3 years max and at some point when the gold bull gets crazy I'll cash them all in. Rent them...never own them.
