RE:RE:RE:Boeing could halt 737MAX productionOf course, you are right. That might happen.. but stretching it would lower the range. Also, AB is already juggling the A319neo and the A220-300. AB would have to scrap the A319neo completely. They might do this, I doubt the development costs were that high.. and the orders are low, but their advertising is still treating the A220 as the little brother
