No "Proven" ore at New Afton ?One must be careful when interpreting NG news releases and other publicly disseminated info.
Example: The most recent ore reserve calculation available to the Public is that of Dec 2018, as far as I can see here and on their website today. In it is stated within the MINERAL RESERVES chart that as far as New Afton Mine goes there IS NO PROVEN ORE remaining, only probable category ore, in either the A+B zones or the "C" zone.
However, they generally report their Reserves as "Proven plus Probable", without mentioning that there is NO contribution, none, zero, to the total combined tonnage whatsoever from the Proven category....wouldn't look very good to admit flat out honestly that at their flagship Mine that produces 50% of their revenue there are no longer any Proven reserves, only Probable reserves so it seems to me that they broadcast only a combined number in order to disguise this shortcoming at New Afton, to hide it.Tthat's deception in my book; how about in yours? I think it would be a corporate duty to shareholders to make them plainly aware of the situation.
