Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Light Oil and Thermal Oil. The Thermal Oil segment includes the Company’s assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of bitumen from sand and carbonate rock formations located in the Athabasca region of Northern Alberta. It also consists of two operating oil sands steam assisted gravity drainage projects and a resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. The Light Oil segment includes its assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of light crude oil and medium crude oil, tight oil and conventional natural gas. Its Light Oil segment consists exclusively of the Duvernay in the Greater Kaybob area with about 155,000 gross acres across Kaybob West, Kaybob North, Kaybob East and Two Creeks.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Estevan ---- Any apologies?I agree with everything you said, except I believe the micro economics will drive the price of the sector up supported by the greed of Wall Street.
The tide has already changed. No its a race to cover and jump the price on every little bit of good news for a few years, the same stocks were shorted on every bit of bad news. The risk is on the shorts now in this sector. So they will abandon.
I believe a good few years ahead because the sector didn't reinvest years ago after crashing. Every 10 days a billion barrels are gone forever. The glut will dwindle and we will be in catch up for a few years while these stocks rise to the point supply comes back. Probably 5 years.
Hang on, It will be a great ride.
