Vertex's acquisition of Semma was out of character. This closed loop system is great in the mean time but you can bet Medtronic and others have their eyes on the prize and wont just watch as they get left behind. Question is when and will Sernova be involved in the next move. If they have the tech that is proven and leading the race its a natural take out. JDRF has validated the trial success leading to doctors telling their patients hopes of Sernova. Why are we left in the dark is a major question that will need to be addressed soon.
