This reminds me of the photos in this tweet from the end of October, regarding the new LED lighting.
 
Based on those photos, it looks like there may no longer be a glass tube wrapping all of the lights within each unit?
 
The transcript of an interview with Mr. Robinson from early October also mentions -

I'm just speculating here, but maybe that's enough of an energy reduction to no longer require a heat removal mechanism around the lights themselves?
