Even the company put this in writing:"Normal Course Issuer Bid: Athabasca's Board has approved a Special Meeting of Shareholders for the Company to pursue a share buyback given the severe dislocation in underlying value and trading price."
How many times do see a company say publicly there's a SEVERE DISLOCATION in the underlying value and trading price?
Usually they say:
"Frontera believes that, from time to time, the market price of its Common Shares may not fully reflect the underlying value of its business and future prospects and financial position."
Big difference between fully reflect and severe dislocation..... but of course some of you need to have some kind of government official tell you when the bottom is in and it's safe to buy shares.
