Could Human Ingenuity Dampen Oroco's Long-Term Value?A critical part of the bull thesis for Oroco is the expectation of increased demand for copper, largely from industrial purposes (e.g., electric vehicles, etc.).
A recent article I just read and linked below makes the argument that humans have been using knowhow and ingenuity to use less and less resources over time, even as populations grow. More conservation would dampen demand for copper, potentially leading to lower prices for longer (kind of like interest rates).
Is this a risk anyone here is considering or do folks think that the timeframe for Oroco's value creation (e.g., sale) will be too short for the conservation trend to really show up in the copper price?
