RE:RE:Wasamac mine in Quebec to be almost fully electricTo get built, Wasamac need a bevyof Federal, provincial, and local permits...at least 3 times during this process there is public comment. No mention in Dec 2018 PEA of either cost or amount of time necessary fo comply with this burocratic nightmare. Also there are endangered snapping turtles on Wasamac property and mine property is next to a local nature preserve. If constructed mine will need lots of pumps to dewater and this dewatering will effect water table causing people nearby to have their wells dry up. Since PEA i dont see Monarch doing anything to push permitting process forward. Can Wasamac even get permitted?
