New ministry of mines building built by Chinese company free The President of the Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadra inaugurated on Friday December 27, 2019 in Bangui, a building constructed by the Chinese company "Shanxi CEG Construction" at a total cost of more than one billion F.CFA, in the presence of Central African authorities including the Minister of Mines and Geology, Lopold Mboli-Fatrane.
“The inauguration of this brand new building, intended to house the various departments of the Ministry of Mines and Geology, offers me the pleasant opportunity to reiterate my firm desire to make the mining sector a lever for socioeconomic development in our country », Such is the content of the guest book signed by President Faustin-Archange Touadra.
The Head of State recommended “to the personnel of this ministry as well as to all those who will use it to take care to maintain well and to take into account the sacrifice made by the State, with the support of the partners of the mining sector to offer them the descent conditions to accomplish their mission in the service of the nation ”.
Minister Lopold Mboli-Fatrane described it as a four-storey, 42-room building fully furnished, equipped and powered by a self-contained solar unit.
"It provides an appropriate working environment for the personnel of the Ministry of Mines and Geology and thus confirms the vision of the Central African petroleum sector which is to contribute to the development of the country by improving the working conditions of its executives", renewed the member of the Mboli-Fatrane government.
The head of the Department of Mines and Geology took this opportunity to announce that the Central African government will organize from February 27 to 29, 2020 in Bangui the first international exhibition of Mines, Quarries and Petroleum (Central African Republic) to present to investors the enormous mining and petroleum potential of the Central African Republic.
It should be noted that this new building of the Ministry of Mines, is a donation from the People's Republic of China, through the two companies PTI-IAS and PTIAL which only confirms its status as a partner in the development of the Central African Republic.
