RE:dividend safety in next upcoming bear market in next decade?

RE:dividend safety in next upcoming bear market in next decade? This is actually worth asking Canoe Financial directly. However, between cash, fixed income, and dividends on bkue chip stocks I belive its safe. Plus, the CEF is actively managed and you would likely see the allocation move toward recession proof stocks that would likely maintain value or even find a few winners despite the "bear market bloodbath". At worst, the dividend would stay safe but the share price would erode and you would compound some cheap shares over the course of the bear market until things turn toward brighter pastures.
