RE:RE:What has George Putnam achieved? To make it short: SCY has miserably failed
Zerosum wrote: The presumption is not that GP has done nothing. He, as the lead negotiator with LOI’s at SCY has done initial introductions with several potential partners. But now the question is how were the companies (SCY's) finances and energies spent vs what outcomes were achieved.

Assuming all actions were undertaken the last few years with full approval of the BOD ( i have my doubts) it is not correct to pin the success or failure of the strategy solely on one individual.  That's assuming the BOD were involved in a meaningful way in the shop floor strategy. Were they? And if not why not? Blame them all.

Regardless, GP has successfully initiated a dialogue with several end users. But is that enough, and at what level were those negotiations undertaken vs what outcomes that are expected. There in lies the gap issue. What where they expecting based on their strategy and actions? And that’s potentially where the BOD’s failure to counsel the lead negotiator with the LOI's has lead to where we are.

Lets remember, it has been long rumoured that discussions were already in progress with @AirbusApworks only to see CLQ catch wind and parachute in above SCY at the BOD level while SCY was still at the shop floor engineer level. So... what lessons were missed there? Anyone...

nOw it is true SCY has set the stage for the next phase of discussions through BOD level discussions at all the LOI’s. The question is who’s got the chutzpah to go in at that level without getting chided or underselling SCY?

The CO2 debate has set the stage for little old SCY to get deep into the negotiations within thousands of Broad rooms tripping over themselves looking for ways to reduce their footprints and crow about it. All based on those vary broad room sustainability initiatives now plastered all over ever large and medium CO2 emitting company’s web sites.

So, can they or will they team up to act as a unified sales force and will they get their sh@t together to take advantage of opportunity staring us all in the face? And if the current BOD won't or can't get it done — then sell us to CLQ where we can at least ride the upside still laying there through RF and Sam. The last time I looked we are down in share price with heavy selling on the ask and we've lost 1/2 our deposit which is what this is all about at the end of the day.

Jobs+CO2reduction+lightweighting+planetearth=myfuture.org.com.net.21.element21 whatever. Frame it, own it, promote it, develop it, shame the f-ers into using Sc alloys. Whatever it takes. Unless your simply to shy and small to do it SCY, which alas - you are.
