RE:AGM

RE:AGM
nickeliferous wrote: Looks like we should hear something about an AGM sometime in January. The last one they had was Dec 2018 and they have 15 months maximum I believe. So that puts the AGM at end of March latest and they need to let shareholders know 60 days before the meeting. Hopefully we hear something in the next 2-3 weeks.

There was some earlier posting about management not entertaining an offer by another company. Can you please clarify? How do you know this? This sounds like some pretty private information you have there!

nickeliferous, the info was leaked from the finance company, the ones in charge of finding a buyer. Later on I found out from one of the company 's shareholders after the offer was refused. There are quite a few people involved inside and outside of DDB  and I would say a dozen people were in the know directly or indirectly. DDB has been in the news as you can see from these articles I posted and there are other shareholders of DDB who have a large position who were talking as well. You cant keep a secret too long when you have 2 companies talking and one of them is publicly listed. I heard one of the offer were shooting down fast as there were arguments and differences of opinions. our only real hope was this other company in tech who would have taken our services to their mega channel partners. But this iffer was shot down as well. 11 days after it expired mind you!! its no longer a secret once it expires and the deal is out of the picture. The other company has a fiducuary duty to inform its shareholders eventually in the AGM. After the AGM other shareholders informed the shareholder I know. There never was a PR about it as the deal fell through. You may see it in their Form 7 most likely.
