who pays for the settlement? Star or executives who were involved in insider trading

First of all, no executives were ever 'involved' with Insider Trading the charges were stayed and no appeal granted.

If you had any clue how easy it would have been for David Baazov and Danny Sebag to make a deal benefitting themselves and hurting shareholders you would realize how preposterous it is for them to be charged with 'Influencing the stock price and insider trading" on such small amounts that the AMF were alleging.

The AMF is a joke, they handled this case so badly from day 1. They never had solid evidence even with 'testimony' from a 'whistleblower'.

This nuisance lawsuit and its settlement are to ensure no damage to the SP occurs and nothing stops the pending stock merger. But I don't doubt for a second how flimsy the evidence was in the case.
