RE:Mr. Clough

RE:Mr. CloughRonnie...good call...particularly about Reyes and Sedun. I've felt the same way for a long time. This isn't about money for them. By any metric you want to use, they both could have been rich beyond most people's wildest dreams had they worked towards developing the assets for Core and it's shareholders. The big 3 properties...DGF, Copper Duke and Linderos could easily have 3-5 million ounces of gold or gold equivalent in the ground. If you do the math, even at today's gold price and at $1000 aisc, that's $4.5 billion in potential profit on the conservative side. With under 200 million shares outstanding, that's an implied value of over $20/share. In Javier's case...over $800 million for the 40 million shares under his control. Sedun's 6 million shares in his wife's name would represent a potential $120 million. I think he could still eke out a modest existence on that, so clearly, it's not just about the money. The sad truth is, this is more about greed, ego and arrogance than money. Why settle for a piece of the pie when you can have the whole thing? The lack of repercussions following their first attempt to hijack the assets during the Titan Plan of Arrangement gave them the confidence and sense of security to try it again. What they weren't counting on was running up against a group of retired shareholders with nothing but time and determination on their hands. I'm sure in their minds, this was going to be no contest. Adversity doesn't build character, it exposes it...and our Board has been exposed...djstone
