RE:RE:RE:RE:So Let's talk About Investment StrategiesI'm with you noway, Iam not an ETF guy, I don't want to own stocks that I'm not comfortable with and I'm active on my research. I think ETF's are good for the buy and holder or someone that doesn't feel they have time to keep on top of things.
I would argue that women aren't necesarilly smarter investors then men but are usually more rational.
When you mention protecting your wealth form your own emotions and stupidy is probably a person by person thing, some investors don't get in there own way and some fall in love with stock names. For myself I'll crunch numbers on stocks and not look at it's previous highs or how much it's down, and invest fundamentaly. Ask myself if I would buy this stock today...which sometimes leads to a sell. That's why I like oil investments, you can really disect the numbers and invest rationally.
