Thanks Max, here's my other  investment thesis.

For the past several months I've been buying perpetual perferreds. If rates go down the perptetual perferreds won't be affected like the resets. I was buying brf.pr.e and brf.pr.f in the $19.50 range locking in about 6.75%.  The important thing is they are well under the recall price of $25.  When the recall option for Brookfield comes due in a few years there's a good chance they will be recalled at the issue price and Brookifield will just do another issue at a lower reset rate. It's just a matter of a few clicks on the computer for Brookfield. These Brookfields are trading at around $22 so there is still  room to run. I

The important thing  is PERPETUAL not Resets.

(These are Brookfield RENEWABLE  energy preferreds  so my buddy Trevor might throw another Greta hissy fit  when he reads this)
