Seems to me that nowadays, the love for oil & stocks are not at interest as once before. We're now in a different economy / world I gather.

The other side of the coin in a war with Iran is a cyber war.  If Iran was able to shut down the electrical grid or some refineries for any period of time the price of oil could plummet.
