Could WFP be stalling with purpose. Not one employee will ever gain back what they have lost in this strike. The company will hold out as long as it takes. Their management is still being paid. I know some of them personally. They are not in any rush to settle. Union management being paid too. I remember this happening in the 80's. Unions kept telling workers to fight and strike. Many of those companies shut down. Unions dont care. They have many union dues coming in. In the 1989 strike in Vancouver the company I worked for Sawarne lumber was on strike. I did not support it. The strike pay ran out in one month so the union borrowed 10 million dollars for strike pay. Then when the strike was over 3 months later the workers were docked pay for months to pay it back. What a joke. Lucky for me the company paid my wages through the strike so I wouldnt go work for another company who wasnt on strike. Skilled trades are hard to find. I feel sorry for these guys because they are listening to the union. Many probably want to go back to work with what WFP has offered. imo
