RE:Any potential for consumer applications? Tracking the location of an asset whether in commercial, industrial or personal is where BEW started. Their early products were Bluetooth enabled and then mobile enabled. There are other companies provide GPS based location tracking and using satellite, it can be more powerful and cheaper.
BEW strength and future lies with incorporating more and more sensors such as temp., humidity, impact, pollution etc.
If WiFi is available, then there are sensors which will not need any mobile connection such as smart thermostats, sump pump level, flooding etc. In residential setting. These are biggest threat to BEW as no mobile data required and no recurring revenue.

Most of the market to date has been towards commercial applications, but just wondering if there is also a market for tracking pets, cars, boats, snowmobiles, campers, etc from a consumer base?, or anyone in the rental business.
Thoughts?
