Thanks captainpooby1 for your response. I happen to be selling a second house I own anyway, and have decided to put that money into GBR, but I am willing to also take out another mortgage on my personal house to add to that.

 

Your figures are interesting, and yourself and others have already posted these type of numbers, so I do apologize for the repetition. The sale of Malartic was for over $3.5 billion dollars and they had just under 10 million ounces proven and probable.

 

10M oz x $350 = $3.5B

 

I’m not saying you don’t know what you are talking about, instead, I’m wandering if you could explain why this is different from your expectations; is my arithmetic correct, and, do you, or any of our other regulars have a comment on if the price could be well over $200 per ounce, as it seems to have been in the case of Malartic.
