RE:RE:Fire - Acquire Premium Wellness Cannabis Company BLISSUnfortunately no, not outside the $1million they reported last quarter - Their products(CBD) haven't been on the shelves long enough to appreciate in a marketable sense(in my mind yet). If they show growth this upcoming quarter it means they are gaining market share on their products. To supreme, it's the THC extracts side that is more important in the short term. Rosin, Shatter, and all these kinds of extracts sell for a very large premium. With BlissCo doing this within the company, it keeps cost down - Mentioned yesterday how Ahpria had $74+mm in Goods purchased(they are buying and selling rather then producing and selling). Rushing to a market that is so consumer quality oriented doesn't always indicate a win, because in the end people will try someone else's products before settling on the one they like. Simply put, early bird gets the worm, but second mouse gets the cheese.
We had a deal for extraction with Labs that I was excited about until they went ahead and bought out Blissco. On top of keeping costs down moving forward, there's a real opportunity here to create IP through the formulas they use to extract the above mentioned high margin premium extracts brands. Quality extracts require more then a point A to B extraction process(mass production) - There's sometimes a real need to go back and forth to get the terp and thc levels right, otherwise the products you create end up being second grade at best. Why give a company like Labs the funds to create a formula that they can then take to your competitors... I can see capacity at Bliss for bringing in outside, small batch growers that would pay them to create a good product to put on the shelves through the IP created inhouse.
