My guess is it was super potent like fentenal and that might have been dangerous for overdosing.  But if you could cut it with something harmless so people could have little packets of. CBD or THC to add to any drink they please, you effectively take over the whole drink market. If I had that patent I would stick to buying up farms and plant as much Hemp for CBD that I could to get the idea going. The sooner the better..
