RE:RE:Long term vs Short termThey are a one crop company unless they're growing something else not reported. Market is massively oversupplied for hemp biomass in part due to lack of processing capacity. I haven't seen them report the % CBD content in their crop so it is difficult to estimate value. Current US value is approximately 1$ per pound per % CBD content. Maximum 2% for Gaia crop. Someone else can research the total crop output for the acres grown but I'm guessing this year's venture is gonna lose at least 50% versus $ input. Lamont is nothing. Good that CEO has significant stake however I'm not inclined to follow his error. They apparently have good cash on hand and minimal burn which is positive. They need to pivot and change their model to something else. Growing hemp on spec is an incredibly risky move and will not pay off, they will be fortunate to break even ie no profit.
