RE:RE:Looking goodYes, this exactly was my thesis for buying, and is why I'm still holding long-term. I have a little regret cus I decided not to sell at $9 during the first rumors of this deal. Could have twice the stake now if I had. Alas. I think you nailed it with "some other big name". The way I see it, eventually Canopy Growth will start eating up smaller companies, and thus Constellation Brands will control a good chunk of the Canadian market through their stake in Canopy. Once the overall market finally stabilizes and the long term prospects are more clear, probably other big beer companies, tobacco companies, etc. will look to make similar moves.
