Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

That being said, the last 14 months have been a sh1t show unlike any other AND I FEEL FOR all longs!!

Fortunately, my family is okay so that's what REALLY matters to me!

Also, just so the readers know that I see two sides to the fence I do have issues with management but overall we are in a better position that we would've with the previous regime'of SMALL TOWN scumbags that rap3d Aphria to pad theirs and their families pockets.
I wish only the worst for those three V C and J.

Now for the current regime, here's my main issue and it's so ironic that it's laughable.

Carl talks about dividends for shareholders in the future as a possibilty if Aphria's financial postion is healthy enough to support ISSUING them yet the current upper management of Aphria is essentially paying themselves a handsome dividend QUARTERLY in the form of SHARE BASED COMPENSATION all during a period of a year when the share price has done NOTHING.

Check this out...

They are granting themselves endless deferred share units, restricted share units and options quarterly and for what accomplishements does management deserve such exorbinant compensation?? The answer is they don't!

Whether you like me or not, you as a shareholder should not be happy about Aphria management padding thier pockets quarterly ESPECIALLY BECAUSE SHARE BASED COMPENSATION IMPACTS OUR EARNINGS IN A VERY NEGATIVE WAY...THE MASSIVE SHARE BASED COMPENSATION IS PARTIALLY WHY WE HAD SUCH A BAD EARNINGS PER SHARE THIS QUARTER.

So answer to your question, I spoke with the people I invested with in this name years ago and we are slowly exiting out of Aphria if what we have heard doesn't happen within two months and may go short...and we have a tonne of paper...

Enough is enough, we are tired of greedy management types that do not produce results.

Caveat, I do expect Irwin to produce but if he doesn't....
