Metals Investor Forum part one Not much in Chris Taylor's presentation today, I did talk to him later although there wasn't much for those of us who follow the story closely. From memory, this is the news.
1) There are five drill rigs on site. From questioning, there will be four rigs engaged in flat out drilling of the Gap zone, because they need frozen ground and it ends in March. They will have one rig drilling for "blue sky" results, places like the North Fault and other places.
2) The drill spacing on the LP fault zones already identified will be 100 metres, unless it is a high grade zone where the spacing will be closer. They are in consultation to determine how close the spacing needs to be, and they hope to complete the drilling program before they get taken out by a major company.
3) Last year there were complaints about isolated drill results, with later follow up. Drill results will be presented in higher numbers to build evidence for analysts. One lab was fired for a lack of accuracy. Five percent of drill results are cross checked, and visually high grade samples are internally logged and tracked for results.
4) The NSR details will be released in January.
5) I asked if there were any storm clouds on the horizon, he reiterated the position that the geology makes him more confident than ever, but he is still concerned about the Godfather offer.
