key here is first drill encountered ' mechanical issues with... rig' so sidetracked and then stopped short of target depth due to 'high pressure...kicks..'
In alberta lingo- not good.(some more colorfull ((colourfull)) phrases I won't type)
Schlumberger I think saved the day here.
anyway, not saying well is a dud. Just know that "completion" doesnt happen in a week.
what zone? How?
Plan 'b' if first completion attempts fall short?
do facilities need to be built first for proper tests ie water/flare etc ?
Last but not least, is the whole works economical (remember the commitments in that calc).?
