Thank you for your very long reply - I (only) read the first line and see you don't agree shareholders are owners of a company.

Well call me old-fashioned but the word "shareholder" seems to me to mean - a holder of a share in a company.

Again from the dictionary "shareholders are essentially owners in a company".

I understand that is not how we are treated, but that does not change the above.
