The thing is, your stock prices might be affected by those refugees. What will happen to the demand for oil if economies collapse due to drought and flooding? How many cities will be under water if the sea level rises even 3 meters? So perhaps we can afford a penny of prevention instead of waiting to pay a pound of cure.
