Ok-What is your ideal global temperature?  You must have one so lets hear it.  You say we are too hot by how many degrees.  The fact is people will not state it, because we do not know.  The problem with measuement is that the majority are taken near urban areas which can cause a heat island effect, which presents a hotter profile than what may occur if located remotely. Perhaps better data quality is needed before we find out where exactly we are at. The data is slowly improving as well as the algo's and simulation programs. We currently apply too many key bugger factors to compensate for knowledge.  They significantly skewer results.
