Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

carmacks bypass agreement reached in april don't think this is started so expect it to be constructed next year - 2020.  the first few kilometers of 130km of road that is reliant on the government and first nations

upgrade of freegold access road - 2021 best case

extension of road to Casino - 2022 best case

2 years of construction including mining the gold heap leach at a loss - 2023/2024.  This will probably be more like 3 years given big projects like this and delays because a junior miner isn't going to make it happen just like they haven't made it happen

expect production in 2025 best case scenario assuming copper is above $3.50 so a construction decision is made in 2023

so in short unless copper spikes to +$3.50 this is going nowhere as quickly as you can get

my opinions only I'm sure the pumpers will not agree and they will sell you that three high grade gold intersections in a field of existing drill holes will somehow justify their current market cap and all of the 'high grade' gold story
