I'm not claiming that a school break equates to a business break.

All I'm saying is that what Peter said is true. He said there had been a school break during the past 2-3 weeks.

You tried to discredit him by making the following false claim or sarcastic remark:

"I sure hope that rumour I overheard about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia suing him for saying that they have all been on holidays for the last 3 weeks is not true."
