Fires don't, indeed, spontaneously combust. But I guarantee you, there were wildfires on Earth long before there were humans stupid enough to set them. The wildfires in Australia are NOT due to idiots. Tell that to the 50 people already charged and the 150 or so under investigation..!

It's a perfect storm for climate change. Natural warming combined with human activities has turbocharged the climate change. This makes it all the more necessary to try and contain the human contribution but when was the last time all nations got together for the common good?

Face it, humanity will not do anything until we reach a crisis.  It will be great news for the planet if 90% of humans die from famine etc.
