RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Carbon TaxGood point Moe, where’s the beef. If numbers are being tossed out as with the warmest years on record, the poster should responsibly provide the historic database to support the contention.
 
If temp records are being discussed, at least demonstrate to the rest of the board the RAW HISTORIC DATA files that support the alleged warmest years on record being the last five.

In the US, at least, maximum temps and other climate data for all states can be found at the  National Centers for Environmental Information (NOCC) and do not support the contention that for most states the warmest years on record were the last five (map below).

According to NOAA’s own historical data, of the U.S. state all-time record high temperatures, 23 occurred during the 1930s, while 36 occurred prior to 1960.
