Barry on Del Norte borrowed from CEO.CA - interesting aspects to learn here...
(btw... the 2% nsr belongs to Excellon and Sabin I have been told...)
https://ceo.ca/dec?b38d7ed1a5d5 Attended VRIC but Decade didn't have a booth. I heard that Gary was there but I couldn't find him. Ran into Barry from Teuton and he had nothing but praise for the Decade Del Norte deal. I had to make notes. He said Big Ed is one of the two best geologist in the golden triangle and he knows the Del Norte better than other geologist. That will hopefully ensure the best and quickest possible exploration results. Del Norte has huge potential and the two holes drilled in 2019 confirmed the possibility of a potential deposit nearby. Ed logged the core so he obviously sees the potential. That and the multiple systems that are known at surface such as the LG vein, crackle zone, K zone and many others. Del Norte is a big property with several ZTEM and EM anomalies on it. The results from 2004 to 2006 drilling was considered really good and excited the JV partners back when gold was 1/3 of what it is today. Those earlier programs would have continued but exploration capital was apparently scarce. So as with any Teuton option deal they got the property back. I asked if he knew how Decade was going to finance 2020 exploration and he said he was not privy to those talks. He said he hasn't heard a peep but suspects the possibility of a rollback and PP. But he is confident that with Del Nortes past sampling, trenching and drilling results that Ed will have no problem raising money. He only needs enough for his first year program. Ed is smart enough to get into some good grades and raise more money at higher prices. I asked about the assays Decade just released and did Teuton know about this, He just laughed and said bullboard conspiracy morons. All Ed did was some basic DD to verify that past trench and grab samples assay results were reliable. Ed can't step into a multi-million dollar exploration project without verification of past grades and those new assays should help him raise money. Barry said there are two outcomes. A major Del Norte discovery will be Big Ed's legacy project or Teuton gets the property back with a huge amount of new data. He said Dino didn't do a deal with Ed because they are old friends. Dino wants another major discovery in the company and truly believes Ed is the best geologist to make it happen. I've been in and out of DEC many times over the past 12 years and don't currently hold any and haven't for a few years. I will watch closely. Is a rollback coming? 10 or 20 to one? If I buy in I want to get positioned before end of May. To do that I need more answers. I actually agree with Dino and Barry. Big Ed is the right guy at the right time. But if I'm going to invest I want my concerns about share structure and working capital answered fist. I'll be watching and lurking in the background until better informed.
