Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:MMCAP

RE:MMCAPAlas, I just finished reading about MMCap and equivalent others. In the Cannabis sphere, this to me pretty much resembles a land of the desperate and of the opportunist taker, i.e., equal to shark-loaning type activity solely at the expense of the retail shareholder. I very much doubt that at this point in Aphria’s evolution Irwin would accept (or go after) a ‘measly’ $100M from this kind of beauties. No, in my view the $100M didn’t come from any one of these beauties (secret at this time). It cannot be, it sounds questionable; and assuming of course that this is the type of investor (the 100 million investor) you people are referring to.
