A reasonable possibility, though, is that there will be no single treatment for Alzheimer's, but that different people will require different strategies, one of which might be the attacking of misfolded proteins. Who knows, maybe aducanumab and eventually PMN 310 will be part of a 'cocktail' to treat the disease. Aducanumab has shown positive effects at a high dosage, as Goldstein explains, and this supports the hypothesis that PMN can do a better job.
