Yes the ball was already rolling in Aberta before Kenney took over and it has been an economic positive for the province for sure, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that Conservative constituents are anti-pot though. I would say most Conservatives are past being "anti-pot" by now (if they ever were). At worst, sentiment on having the stores in a Conservative held province would be neutral these days. Kenney would never have attempted to reverse roll-out because he knows constituents most importantly see value in having access to the stuff, caring more about that than whatever revenue it brings in for government. I doubt Kenney would ever look for political credit on how legal weed helped out his province lol. Getting oil out of there is the big deal for his mandate.
