UK moves up date for move to copper intensive transportation
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/science-environment-51366123 I think Mariusz is on to something. Tesla's success is the success of copper, and the success of copper is the success of Oroco. Electrified transportation will soak up huge amounts of copper. And any increase in the rate of growth of copper consumption at a time of falling discoveries and declining production from aging mines, is going to - at least - put a floor under copper prices, but more likely move the price upwards. TSLA shares taking off in price is fine, and signals actual and expected growth in copper intensive transportation, but perhaps more significant is the banning of gas and diesel cars by Germany, France, Norway and others, and the moving closer of the date of the phase out of ICE cars. Confidence in the shift to electrified transportation is increasing, as evidenced by the UK moving the date forward by 5 years.
