Suncor is the blue chip in this sector no doubt.  From the news release "18 years of consecutive annualized dividend increases." in these markets no less.

I am looking at owning it too.

I wouldn't worry near term on the nat gas prices, I don't think they are going any where for a few years at least.  I do get what you mean though it is an exspense.  However, if we can $5 nat gas, oil will be higher too.

Big picture stuff is what matters here, pipelines, perceptions and politics.  Cheers Matthew
