New perspective: Rio Tinto could clear the way New perspective: Rio Tinto could clear the way
Hi Thairat , I take again reference to your yesterday's post no.681 : Geological-mineralogical it is totally logical that the land part of SAVILLE has the higher fluorspar content ! While on Ashram monazite and bastnsite are predominant, the Ashram surrounding areas of SAVILLE are mineralized differently, namely by pyrochlorine as the typical "host or carrier mineral" of niobium and tantalum .... here complex calcium-fluoride mixed crystal structures with integrated Nb- or Ta - atoms .... simplified "formulas" fluorcalciopyrochlor (Ca2 Nb2 O6 F) and fluorcalciomicrolite ( Ca2 Ta2 O6 F ). I have put in the simplified "formulas", so that you can see "where" the CaF2 comes from, which, according to geological understanding, has partially dissolved out of the solid solution complex through weathering / leaching over millions of years ... and deposited and HIGHLY ENHANCED in the segments between and outside the Nb / Ta bearing structures. Thus CaF2 was also washed out into the central area of Ashram between the monazite-bastnsite structures there. The FREE CaF2 deposits CONCENTRATED AS FLUOR SAVILLES project area should be relatively easy to mine and to extract by a simple process .... during the later processing of the Nd-Ta containing pyrochloric ores the CaF2, which is also "bound" there, would be released again in large quantities ! Especially the iron and steel makers need huge amounts of fluorspar as flux in the blast furnaces, in the Siemens-Martin steel furnaces, electric blast furnaces and in the cryolite synthesis for aluminium production .... RIO TINTO with his huge "smelters" in the far north would not only be the first address to cover his needs, which up to now have been imported from overseas .... ...but also the capital giant, which could invest in road construction ... especially as they could certainly also be keen on the niobium and tantalum ... and that would open the way to the REE on Ashram for whoever in the alliance ! So .... let's not forget SAVILLE !!!

Rio Tinto - who owns aluminum smelters in Quebec - is also interested in CCE’s fluorspar. But CCE’s hands are tied: in the MOU with Norfalco they accepted a condition which prohibits them to negotiate any fluorspar deals with others.
Norfalco is big enough to take all of CCE’s fluorspar. Rio Tinto flirting with CCE might put some pressure on Norfalco to act quickly and decisively.
Rio Tinto might be interested in the newly released Saville Resources Fluorspar assays. Fluorspar is hot ;-)
