RE:StockPulse Interview with Yannis Tsitos
Inse Thanks for another sensible post. I've been investing in gold stocks since 2010. Got in at the top (ouch) but have learned a lot since then and through careful investment and averaging down, I am now up on my portfolio (around 16 stocks), even though the bull has barely started. So far none of my companies has gone bust (though trifecta gold appears to be going in that direction). I just sold everything on endeavour silver as management has cocked up big time. GXS is my main stock (by far) because I have no doubt that this is a winner. I cant believe I could get shares at 6.5c just a couple months ago. Since August (when the poor NR came out), I've doubled my shares at a 0.85c average. Why? Because salbora and eagle mountain deposits are still there. And there's a very good chance that there is more (a lot more) gold there. These curent prices are ridiculous but it gave me the opportunity to keep averaging down (0.135 overall but I've been an investor since 2012 or 2013 - well before the silvercrest team got involved). I can't remember but I think the first shares cost me around 50c (ouch). The journey has been one of elation with the prospect of a mine back in 2016 and some outstading drilling results; and frustration with it not working, some bad results and the lowering share price. But I do think they've now cracked the safe code - they now know where to search for gold. Geophysics has changed the game for GXS and eagle mountain, as it has allowed the team to understand the conditions required for gold to be there. Imagine 3 or 4 salboras in the property.... and the company has not even started to test at depth. As the gold bull intensifies, and the project moves forward, the price will increase substantially. I will not selling before 1CAD, unless something dramatic happens that changes my mind. Maybe when it hits 70-80c (probably in a couple of years) I'll get rid of a small portion equivalent to the initial investment on the stock. I am looking forward to the next NR re: Toucan. Auger drilling there had good results (virtually all above 1g/t) and the little past diamond drilling (not by the current team) has returned some very promising results. GLTA
