Musings on a SundayI have been in this deal for a few years now and were I not so busy I would fly to Montreal for the upcoming agm. I have taken advantage of this recent pullback to top up my position. I also have a few associates who have also purchased shares... I would estimate that collectively we have about 1 million shares.
Blackout Period - when company insiders have info that is material that has not yet been released to the public, typical good corporate governance would instill a blackout period which does not end until the material info has been released. Blackout simply means insiders and managemnt cannot buy stock. It would be highly unusual for a blackout period to be in effect for such a prolonged period so I dont buy into the arguement that management cannot buy stock. All they have to do is mention somewhere in the latest MD&A that they have had conversations with entities re a licensing agreement and the blackout is effectivley over. This is the one area that me and my associates have the most concern - why aren't insiders heavily papered up? We want to see skin in the game.
Positives - Even though, other than options, nobody but Pierre Miron has skin in the game, the following points are all positives;
-Stock has been under "sophisticated" accumulaton over the past year.
-Low Burn rate which is not typical of a scam.(no milking of the treasury)
-No frivolous promotion
-The fact that during the bitcoin craze they did not do any JV's or MOU's with any bitcoin related company speaks volumes of thier resistance to promo that most certainly would have moved the needle big-time.
All in all, I do agree that a financing is probably our biggest overhang at present and most probably those who sold or shorted paper as it moved into the '.20's are thinking they can buy it back or cover thier shorts in a pending financing.IMHO - the fact that some posters on this board have offered money and thier overtures were not responded to is a very good sign. Scammers never turn down money, since once they have the funds they are creative as to how they milk and bilk the treasury.
In summary, this is still a headscratcher, but it still appears to be the hold grail of encrytion. For those of you attending the AGM - please report back to the board.
Good luck fellow QNC Investors...
