Dividend and Aqua Rica
Thanks for sharing Fruitvale.
Many good things happening. More exploration drilling than ever, increasing reserves plus substantial capital still deployable for the next near term producing deal.
It is hard not to believe this will prove to be another very good year for Sandstorm.
Regarding Nolan's comment on dividend I would much prefer no dividend and have the company continue to put the capital to work on more near term producers. At least until double the current market cap to 3 billion
Last info I find on Yamana's Aqua Rica project is the following with a nice NPV increase... could/should be due for an update soon?

The change to a 20% stream does requires a big commitment of between 135- 225 million.
"Sandstorm entered into an early deposit gold stream on Agua Rica that allows for an additional advance payment of between $135 million and $225 million to convert the 0.25% NSR royalty into a gold stream. The amount of the payment is based on the following formula: $150,000 multiplied by the price of gold plus $7.5 million. If this advance payment is made, Sandstorm will have the right to purchase 20% of the gold produced at Agua Rica for the life of the mine, with ongoing payments equal to 30% of the spot price of gold."
Also really like the commitment to use existing infrastucture from two big players to develop this Aqua Rica project.
"Yamana Gold Inc., Glencore International AG, and Goldcorp Inc. announced the signing of an integration agreement pursuant to which the Agua Rica project would be developed and operated using the existing infrastructure associated with the Alumbrera mine in the Catamarca Province of Argentina."
