RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:A220 gone
We can only hope! Who advises these lunatics? This management team must be:
  • the worst negotiators on the planet!
  • oblivious to preserving any value for the Class B shareholders
  • completely lacking in any self-respect
  • How is this in the interest of the company with 550+ planes still to be delivered---just from existing orders? Even with their 31% share and say $33M price tag (let's use production cost for arguments sake. Feel free to insert Boeing's claimed dumping price of $19M) we're still talking $3 to $5.6B! So pay the damn $350M for the remaining two years!
Crappy AB has only delivered 250 orders thus far to Bbd's original 400 which on their own would have returned them double! So this is insanity. Sure there must be a gazillion costs I'm not factoring in but surely the return is a hell of a lot more than the $1+$591M that our high-paid clueless Bellamere has delivered.
And to add insult to injury, AB's chief salesman John Leahy had sneeringly called the C Series "a nice little plane". A plane now delivering billions into AB's coffers after their own poor returns on the 319Neo and announcement to stop production of A380.
This was no JV or partnerships? It was a coup. I'm gutted!
