That below was his best "intelligent" " educated " "knowledgable" expertise of Namaste future. I hope I make everyone smiling.

Why Namaste won't be in the Edibles business1. The currently do not have, nor have they announced their intention to acquire the proper federal licences to produce and sell anything for the recreational market. Their current 'sales only' licence does not allow them to produce any cannabis products.
2. Edibles are not a 'Medical' or 'Prescribable' form of Cannabis - so Cannmart can not sell these products.
3. In several big provinces (Ontario for sure) you can't sell edibles directly - they must be sold through the licenced retailers - which Namaste is not.
4. Choklat will need a special licence to produce and package edible products - but so far - no news of a pending application. Besides that - they will need millions of additional funding for GMP certification and the facilities to mass produce large quantities of edible products. Also - their unique branding and culture are useless in the plain packaging world of edibles.
5. For all or Namaste's announcements about entering the edible market there is not one shred of evidence that they are actually preparing to do so. No licences, No prototypes, no Retail distribution plan - nothing.
6. This is key. Edibles will account for 40-45% of all cannabis product sales. That means exisiting users will buy less dried flower and consume more edibles. That's bad news for Medical and dried flower producers.
7. Edibles will not be sold at grocery stores - so the often touted fact that Choklat has a retail presence at Sobeys is meaningless.
