Not quite what I expected but then what else is new.
Not quite what I expected but then what else is new. I'm not sure if they are changing their thinking on how this deposit is put together or if they are just adding another dimension when they say:
" Assay results, geology, and oriented structural data suggest the zone hosts steeply-dipping 'sheets' of disseminated high-grade gold mineralization with significant strike length and vertical extent. More detailed drilling is required to accurately delineate the geometries of these high-grade 'sheets' and the boundaries of the surrounding mineralized envelope. "
But anyway my thinking, altho maybe I haven't expressed it, is that deposits aren't like homogeneous loaves of bread, more like bad loaves with big holes inside. We were hoping for a homogeneous raisen bread with gold where the raisens would be but I don't know that's how this will turn out. Think grade control, or rock management is the way most deposits are mined, or at least the profitable ones and no doubt that's what will happen here.
But we have defined a huge target to begin infill drilling of 300 holes and I'm certain we will here about the sweet spots , the raisens, when we hit them.
Looking forward to hearing what Chris has to say, same model, new model or what.
And of course the NSR spin out.
The stock is holding it's recent gains very well and some are expecting more news next week so we'll see.
Thoughts anyone ?
